Not every theatre will receive a print of every movie; many aspects are taken into account to decide which theatre will receive which movie (i.e. size of theatre, location of theatre, studio license, etc). Therefore, when a film is being allocated they are figuring these factors in so that the correct theatre will receive the correct movie.
