Anatole, a fictional character in the works of P. G. Wodehouse, is a highly skilled yet temperamental French chef employed first by Mr and Mrs Bingo Little and later by Dahlia Travers, Bertie Wooster's aunt and chatelaine of Brinkley Court. He was born and raised in Provence, where he learnt his art.

Anatole is the title character in a series of children's books written by Eve Titus and illustrated by Paul Galdone. Anatole is a mouse who lives in an un-named "mouse village" outside Paris, commuting by bicycle to work in a French cheese factory, where, as a taster and evaluator of the factory's product, he leaves notes to guide the cheesemakers in their work. His good taste for good cheese leads to the factory's commercial success and to his murine fame - to such an extent that Anatole is regularly hailed as a "mouse magnifique" by rodent contemporaries.
