a barometer that measures pressure without using fluids
containing no liquid or actuated without the use of liquid; "aneroid barometer"
A type of barometer that uses a metal container from which some of the air has been removed. Changes in air pressure make the container change shape and a system of levers can allow these shape changes to move a pointer on a dial, giving a reading of atmospheric pressure.
Literally "not wet", containing no liquid.
