Air Quality Impact
air quality index. A report of daily outdoor air quality conditions. In Minnesota and Utah, four pollutants are used to calculate the AQI: ground-level ozone, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and fine particles PM2.5 .
Air Quality Index. The measurement of air quality that is calculated from ozone and fine particle pollution measurements over the past few hours. A higher AQI indicates a higher level of air pollution, and consequently, a greater potential for health problems.
Agricultural Quarantine Inspection. A program, administered by USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, that inspects incoming passengers, luggage, and cargo at U.S. ports of entry in order to protect U.S. agriculture from foreign animal and plant pests and diseases.
