A tweed or suiting named after the Scottish town made famous by the Scottish victory over the English in 1314. The fabric is made in 2 and 2 twill weave from marled cheviot woollen spun yarn prepared by twisting together two contrasting colours then weaving them together in the warp and weft to produce a mottled effect.
