Known far and wide as Denmark's "Ambassador of Pipes", the title is more than honorary since Bjarne once served as a Danish ambassador to the U.S. A pipe smoker himself since the age of 16, Nielsen left Denmark's foreign service to turn his attention to producing high quality Danish pipes at a more than reasonable price. Every Bjarne pipe is hand made of the highest quality Grecian and Calabrian plateau briar, expertly worked and crafted by some of Denmark's best known and most talented pipe carvers.
