Brian Murphy (born March 17, 1961 in Moncton, New Brunswick) is a former mayor of Moncton, New Brunswick and is the current Liberal Member of the Canadian House of Commons from Moncton—Riverview—Dieppe. After his term as mayor, he was succeeded by Lorne Mitton. His family has produced a multitude of politicians, including his cousin Moncton North MLA Mike Murphy.
