Brian Williams (born in Winnipeg, Manitoba) and raised in Hamilton, Ontario is a Canadian sportscaster who is best known for his coverage of the Olympic Games. Williams was long associated with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's sports coverage since joining the network in 1974, after radio employment at Toronto's CFRB and CHUM. On June 5, 2006, he announced plans to move to rival CTV, and its sports network TSN, in December 2006.

Brian Williams (born July 2, 1979 in High Point, North Carolina) is an American football player who currently plays cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. After attending Southwest Guilford High School as a Running Back and Linebacker/Safety, he was a three-year starter for North Carolina State University at free safety and finished his collegiate career with 262 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, a sack, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, five blocked kicks, five interceptions and 20 passes defensed. He was drafted in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
