Brixton is an area of South London, part of the London Borough of Lambeth. It is bordered by Stockwell, Kennington, Camberwell, Tulse Hill and Herne Hill.

Brixton was a parliamentary constituency centred on the Brixton district of South London. It returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

Brixton Prison is the oldest correctional facility operating in the United Kingdom and the first English prison to become an exclusive women's correctional facility.
