Chichiri (井宿) is a Suzaku celestial warrior in Yu Watase's Fushigi Yūgi. He is a wandering monk that spent the last of his years training under Taiiitsu-kun, the creator. When he first appears, he is wearing a smiling, fox faced mask to conceal a horrid scar he acquired at the age of eighteen when he "learned" that his best friend had in a way cheated with his fiancee.
