Definitions for "Dischargeable"
Debts that can be discharged in bankruptcy. Certain debts are not dischargeable in a chapter 7 bankruptcy, but may be in a chapter 13 (such as fraud). Some debts cannot be discharged at all – such as child support, criminal restitution, and some student loans.
