Plastic cap which fits on top of the distributor and contains electrodes, in which the rotor arm rotates to distribute the HT spark voltage to the correct spark plug.
A cap that covers the distributor. It has an outlet for each spark plug wire, plus an outlet where the wire from the coil enters the cap to conduct electrical current to the rotor. The cap keeps dirt and moisture from getting into the distributor.
A cover for the conventional ignition-system distributor, having a central terminal that receives secondary voltage from the coil and four, six, or eight peripheral terminals to send this voltage to the spark plugs.
