A medication: Domperidone is a peripheral dopamine antagonist; originally produced to control gastrointestinal disorders such as reflux. This medication may have the side effect of elevating serum prolactin levels; which results in inducing lactation and/or increasing lactation. This is usually a prescription medication and not available in the USA.
Anti-nausea drug.
Domperidone (Motilium® or Motillium) is an antidopaminergic drug, developed by Janssen Pharmaceutica, and used orally, rectally or intravenously, generally to suppress nausea and vomiting. It has also been used to stimulate lactation.
