Doolittle is the second studio album from the American alternative rock band Pixies, released in April 1989 on 4 AD. The album's offbeat and dark subject material, with references to surrealism, Biblical violence, torture and death, contrasts with its clean production, which owed much to newly-hired producer Gil Norton. Elektra Records acted as American distributor for the album, the Pixies' first international and major label release.
