Acronym for -- D'ni Restoration Council. Its main purpose was to oversee the exploration and restoration of D'ni. The council was headed by Dr. Marie Sutherland, Dr. Ikuro Kodama, Victor Laxman, and Michael Engberg with Dr. Richard Watson as chair. There were also numerous volunteers who served in support roles. In February, 2004, all restoration efforts were cancelled and the cavern was evacuated and closed. The site began showing renewed signs of activity in February, 2006.
