Short for Diagnostic Repair Darter. They are fully mechanical, about 18 inches long, metallic, and have two headlights. Similar in function to the human immune system, their main duty is to help upkeep Leviathan systems.
DRDs (Diagnostic Repair Drones) are robots from the sci-fi series Farscape. They are small robots that move around the living, sentient spaceships called Leviathans. They a built by the leviathans as it grows.

Disposal Release Denial
Depreciation Reserve Deficiency. A depreciation reserve deficiency arises if the currently-estimated useful life of a class of assets is less than that used to determine past depreciation expenses. As a result, the accumulated depreciation is lower than it would have been if the depreciation expense had been determined on the basis of the currently-estimated useful life.
Dividend Received Deduction (DRD) is a tax credit for institutional holders on received dividends. DRD allows U.S. corporations to exclude taxes on 70% of dividends received from the preferred stocks of other corporations. This credit increases to 80% in the case of any dividend from a 20% owned corporation. DRD does not apply for individual investors.
