Definitions for "Driveability"
A subjective measure of a vehicle's overall operating quality, as defined by the combination of its powertrain, steering and braking systems. For example: a sports car is considered to have better driveability characteristics than a tow truck.
The sum of the vehicle's driving traits and mannerisms. Handling, steering traits and ride quality are the major categories that influence driveability. The question is how will a particular suspension alteration impact driveability
The general qualitative evaluation of a powertrain's operating qualities, including idle smoothness, cold and hot starting, throttle response, power delivery, and tolerance for altitude changes.
An engine's response, especially when first fired up, to your right foot on the accelerator. Talented engineers and today's engine management systems have all but made this a non-issue.
