Definitions for "Ectopic Pregnancy"
Pregnancy growing outside the uterus, often in fallopian tubes
a pregnancy in which the fertilized egg implants elsewhere than the uterus (usually in the fallopian tube, the ovary of the abdominal cavity).
An abnormal pregnancy in which the blastocyst attaches inside the uterine tube or to the cervix, rather than in the normal position in the dorsal uterine wall. The embryo usually does not survive in this type of pregnancy.
