Gross Rating Points – The sum of ratings delivered by a given list of media vehicles. A single rating point is equal to 1% of the particular audience being targeted in a given market area. GRPs = Reach * Frequency
Gross rating points reflect the accumulated audience exposed. Individuals may be counted more than once. It's calculated by counting the gross impressions, dividing by the target population and multiplying by 100.
