A type of lead form, which extends from the side of the device and has an L-shaped bend at the end.
A "cranked" wing. On some glider variants the wings rise initially from the fuselage then descend towards the wing tips. Examples of aircraft designed with an inverted Gull Wing are the Stuka JU87 and the F4U Corsair, both of which had wings which were inclined down from the fuselage then up towards the wing tips.
The gull wing is an aircraft configuration with a prominent bend in the wing somewhere along the span, generally near the wing root. Its name is derived from the seabirds which it resembles. It has been incorporated in aircraft for many differing reasons.
