The best known African American neighborhood in the United States, located in Manhattan, north of Central Park. It has been a center for black business and cultural activities for more than sixty years.
A Manhattan neighborhood located in the northern section of the island between the Upper West Side and Inwood. Streetwise it runs from Fairview Avenue to 110th Street and west to east from the Hudson River to Park Avenue and the Harlem River.
