Interleaf Inc., with its XML-based content management tools and WAP technology for the wireless delivery of content, was acquired by BroadVision Inc., the leading worldwide provider of personalised e-business applications, in April 2000. (see BladeRunner and BroadVision).
Founded in 1981, Interleaf was a company that produced a technical publishing software product with the same name. It was a competitor of the Adobe Frame Maker product. Broadvision acquired Interleaf in January 2000.
