Irresistible is the second album by American pop singer Jessica Simpson, released in 2001 (see 2001 in music). The LP featured the hit single "Irresistible," and its poorly received follow up "A Little Bit". Many fans were upset that Columbia Records refused Simpson a third single, as many tracks on the record were radio-friendly.
"Irresistible" is the first single from Jessica Simpson's second album, Irresistible. Released in 2001, the single reached fifteen on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Simpson's second top-twenty hit. The single also reached eleven in the United Kingdom.
Irresistible was the first and only solo album of Tammi Terrell, which was released in January 1969 by Tamla (Motown). Due to complications with a malignant brain tumor in 1968 which caused her untimely death in March 1970, Terrell did not record a subsequent solo album. Singles (shown with an astrisk) from this album were dubbed with vocals from Terrell's frequent singing partner Marvin Gaye for the duet's next and final album, Easy.
