Islington is an inner-city district in north London. The area usually referred to as Islington is now part of the London Borough of Islington to which it gave its name.

It opened on October 16, 2005, on the intersection of Islington Avenue and Highway 7 in Vaughan, Ontario. It is on the Viva Orange line and the Viva Purple line as well during peak periods.
