Karen was an American TV sitcom. Produced by Kayro-Vue/Universal, 27 B/W half-hour episodes were aired on NBC from October 5, 1964 to April 19, 1965. The series was directed by Earl Bellamy.
Karen is a Danish form of Katherine. It may possibly also be a form of Katherine used in Armenian. It has since been commonly adopted in English speaking countries, and was one of the top ten names for girls born in the United States during the 1940s and 1950s.
