KGO 810 kHz on the AM band, is a news-talk format radio station based in San Francisco, California owned by ABC/Disney, which has announced that it would sell its ABC Radio holdings including KGO to Citadel Broadcasting. The sale is expected to close by the end of 2006. Broadcasting with 50,000 watts of power as a clear channel station, it can be heard throughout the western United States and beyond.
