Definitions for "leyline"
A term coined in the early 20th century to describe the alignment of historic sites. Leylines were believed by Alfred Watkins to be ancient trackways. In the 1960s, it was suggested that they represented lines of dowsable energy over the land. In more recent years, it has been suggested that they represent the paths taken by Shamans during trance flight.
