Linefeed is a GTK graphical utility which offer an easy way to convert DOS text files to UNIX text files by removing all unwanted carriage return characters.
A special non-printable control character, having an ascii code = $0A (decimal 10). Sometimes referred to as ctrlJ. In text display, the linefeed character is used to move the cursor down one line. Most text or ascii files have lines ending in a carriage_return/linefeed combination.
An ASCII character that causes an output device to move forward one line.
