Definitions for "Liqueurs"
Liqueur chocolates are easily identifiable in the box because they are usually wrapped in coloured aluminium foil. Liqueur chocolates are made in a different way compared to other chocolates in that they have a fine layer of crystallized sugar with added starch between the chocolate and the alcohol. The sole purpose of this thin layer is to contain the alcoholic liquid, thus making the enrobing process easier.
Sweet flavored alcoholic beverage distilled from rum, brandy, or whisky.
