A lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery is a rechargeable battery with twice the energy capacity of a Nickel-Cadmium battery. It also offers greater stability and safety. Commonly used in consumer electronics such as cellular phones, digital photo/video cameras, and notebook computers.
Rechargeable battery that fully charges over a period of four hours, typically at 4.2 volts. Users do not need to fully discharge the battery before recharging.
