Lleida (IPA: Standard Central Catalan [] or North-Western Catalan []) (Castillian: Lérida (IPA: []) although officially referred as Lleida) is a city in the west of Catalonia, Spain. It is the capital of the Spanish province of the same name and the comarca (county) of Segria. It had 124,709 inhabitants as of 2005.

Lleida or Lérida is a province of eastern Spain, in the western part of the autonomous community of Catalonia. It is bordered by the provinces of Girona, Barcelona, Tarragona, Zaragoza and Huesca, it is also bordered by and France and Andorra.
