An LPO is considered a high risk option and may adversely affect the time in which a vehicle is built, as LPO options are often kept in very short supply by the manufacturer. Currently only used by Ford and Chrysler. Chrysler LPO's are only available to fleet customers. Ford LPO's are available to both fleet and retail customers.
