Money Flow Index. The MFI is a volume-weighted momentum indicator that compares positive money flow to negative money flow. When compared with price it can gauge the strength of a trend. Money Market The market for short-term debt instruments.
It stands for Melt Flow Index. It is the weight of polymer melt in grams extruded in 10 minutes through a standard nozzle or die under standard load condition at a certain temperature.
The Money Flow Index measures the strength of money flowing into and out of a stock. The difference between the RSI and Money Flow is that where RSI only looks at prices, the Money Flow Index also takes volume into account.
