("mee-reh-yah") The seat of power in Mirea, situated on the top of a mountain. It has its beginnings when ancient Mireans discovered iron ores beneath the surface, and subsequently, efficient iron mining--this is evident in Mirea's mining sector which resides in the northeast corner of the town. As a result, the capital is the richest and most populated town in the lands of the badgerfolk.

A federation of badgerfolk and squirrelfolk. Mirea is goverened mainly by two leaders, the High Sovereign (a Mirean), and the Lord/Lady Protector (a V'q). It spans a large land area which includes the mountain capital and outlying towns on the plateau, and the surrounding forests below, where new outposts have taken foot.
