Definitions for "MLV"
A translation vendor who specializes in mulitple language pairs, such as Western European languages.
A vendor capable of localizing a product into multiple languages simultaneously. Working with an MLV may be advantageous for lower overall costs and improved consistency between different language versions. However, not all MLVs directly employ all the necessary personnel, so they may have to use Single-Language Vendors as subcontractors. See also Single-Language Vendor.
