Mumbra(Moo'm-bra) is a small town situated around 40km from Mumbai and is the suburb of Thane city.It is close to Thane and Diwa and is well connected with Mumbai by roads and the local train network. Mumbra falls administratively under Thane Municipal corporation. 80 % of the population are Muslims. Due to its large population it has many buildings and apartments.
