Capable of being navigated; deep enough and wide enough to afford passage to vessels; as, a navigable river.

capable of being sailed (or boated) on or through
an association that can be navigated in both directions. Note. if an association is not navigable it is simpler to implement it because storing an identifier of an object allows it to be found.
