Any condition based in the nervous system–usually the brain–that disrupts normal functioning. Neurological disorders can result from disease, toxins, injuries or developmental abnormalities. Alzheimer’s disease, focal dystonia and cerebral palsy are examples of neurological disorders.
Emotional or mental disorders or problems that appear in the form of anxieties, obsessions, phobias, etc., but are not typically so sever that the person loses touch with daily realities.
