Definitions for "OptoMMP"
Opto 22's memory-mapped protocol for all Opto 22 Ethernet-based brains and controllers. OptoMMP is based on the IEEE 1394 standard. It is open and documented in the OptoMMP Protocol Guide. The OptoMMP protocol is used to write your own custom applications for Ethernet-based devices. Both the protocol and an OptoMMP Communications Toolkit are documented. The toolkit offers ActiveX components and C++ classes to make programming easier. NOTE: If you do not want to write your own custom applications, try the easy-to-use PAC Project software suite.
