FDA has approved the following protease inhibitors as drugs to treat HIV disease: LEXIVA® (fosamprenavir), AGENERASE® (amprenavir), Invirase® (saquinavir), Fortovase® (saquinavir), Crixivan® (indinavir), Viracept® (nelfinavir), Norvir® (ritonavir), and Reyataz TM (atazanavir).
