The share of a plow, or that part which cuts the slice of earth or sod at the bottom of the furrow.
The point of a plow . . . the part which breaks the ground. The upper part of the plowshare and the moldboard act as a single curve to invert the furrow slice. In passing over this surface the strip of earth is twisted and broken and the soil is pulverized, mixed and aerated.
