A porter is on duty 24 hours a day. You can get photocopying and phone cards from the Lodge, put stuff into pigeon post, and sign up for various meals. You can also obtain a locker in the Plummer through the Head Porter, Mr. Mike Minns, although these are usually over-subscribed (ask early). The porters generally know what is going on in College and are really helpful.

The very nice men in the lodge (Brian, Ken, Chris, Ashley and Mick) headed by omnipotent Mike Dean. They are in charge of security, safety, the phone system, mail sorting, keys, and the problems of the world. There is a porter on duty 24 hours a day, but don't just call them in the middle of a night for a chat, try to arrange an emergency first. NB: for repairs make sure to write your complaints in the Maintenance Book located in the lodge.

This is a very dark beer. Some have a chocolate-y silkiness whilst others are more acrid and sharp tasting. Either way they are usual fairly dark in colour.
