Definitions for "PYG"
PYG (Pyg) was Japan's first rock super-group, made up of members of the most famous bands of the Group Sounds era, The Tempters, The Spiders and The Tigers. The members were (keyboards) Katsuo Ohno, (guitar) Takayuki Inouye, (drums) Hiroshi Oguchi, (lead vocals) Kenichi Hagiwara, (bass) Ittoku "Sally" Kishibe and (lead vocals) Kenji Sawada. Session man Yuji Harada, a non "Group Sounds" star, was also added to the line-up as a second drummer.
