Definitions for "Quadrature amplitude modulation"
Keywords:  qam, psk, amplitude, baud, phase
Quadrature modulation in which the two carriers are amplitude modulated.
As the name itself states QAM results from two carriers in quadrature (QAM is a combination of ASK and PSK). A "n" level digital signal is superimposed on them.
A modulation technique used by modems and DSL equipment in which a carrier's amplitude and phase are simultaneously modulated by the digital traffic.
