Regional Arts Board. There are 10 English RABs, which work as arts development agencies in the broadest sense, identifying needs and formulating strategies for arts provision.
RAID Advisory Board. An association of companies whose primary intention is to standardize RAID storage systems.
Restoration Advisory Board. A community advisory body, co-chaired by an installation representative (usually the BRAC Environmental Coordinator) and a community member, that is responsible for providing advice to the Air Force regarding the environmental restoration program at its installations.
Registrar Accreditation Board. The U.S. organization for accreditation of Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001, Quality Management Systems ISO 9000 registrars, and auditor training course providers. On January 1, 2005, RAB and the ANSI-RAB NAP was replaced by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).
REGIONAL ADVISORY BOARD. Group of volunteer stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, in each region, that oversees and assist in coordinating the lifespan respite care system in the state of Florida
Restoration Advisory Board. An advisory group for the environmental restoration process that includes members of the public, the installation, and regulatory agencies. The purpose of a RAB is to gain effective input from stakeholders on cleanup activities and to increase installation responsiveness to community environmental restoration concerns.
RESTORATION ADVISORY BOARD. Forum for discussion and exchange of cleanup information between the DoD installation representatives and the public at BRAC installations. The RAB consists of DoD, EPA, state environmental agency and local community representatives and is jointly chaired by the BEC and a local community member.
Abbreviation for Registrar Accreditation Board.
Registrar Accreditation Board. A board that evaluates the competency and reliability of registrars (organizations that assess and register companies to the appropriate ISO 9000 Series Standards). The Registrar Accreditation Board, formed in 1989 by the ASQC, is governed by a board of directors from industry, academia, and quality management consulting firms.
Restoration Advisory Board. A forum of government and community representatives that provides input to the installation commander concerning cleanup at military installations.
Raid Advisory Board. An organization of storage system manufacturers and integrators dedicated to advancing the use and awareness of RAID and associated storage technologies. Started in 1992, RAB states its main goals as education, standardization and certification.
