Reba is a United States sitcom starring country music singer Reba Mc Entire. It premiered on The WB network in 2001, where it ran for five seasons before moving to The CW Network for its final season. It currently airs Sundays at 7/6c on The CW Television Network, a merger of the now-defunct WB and UPN networks.
Reba not only signaled to the world that Reba Mc Entire had by now become so well known that she could be identified by first name alone, but also signaled an entirely different style to her music. Gone were the steel guitars and fiddles of My Kind of Country and Have I Got a Deal for You, to be replaced by highly produced and orchestrated numbers that were country pop at best. Not that this would diminish her album sales any at all, as it was another #1 country album again (her third).
