Redcar is the principal town of the borough of Redcar and Cleveland, England. Historically in the North Riding of Yorkshire, it is now within the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, and is within the region of North East England. The main roads through the town are the A1085 and the A174.

Redcar is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
