Cindy Nelson was approached in 2005 to submit songs for the upcoming movie, “Running With Scissorsâ€, she read the #1 best selling novel by Augusten Burroughs, wrote the song (which the music director of the film said “She has nailed this dead-on!â€), went to Masterfonics Recording Studio in Nashville, with her all-star band, and recorded it in March of 2006. This song, along with the remastered “Hello†CD, was released for International Airplay in August of 2006, via Paul Loggins’, Loggins Promotions. Several of the top entertainment magazines have already rated 8 of these songs as Top 10 potential.
Running with Scissors is a 2001 poetry anthology edited by Canadian writers Andy Brown and Meg Sircom. It is subtitled as new poetry by 19 young writers under 25.
