Companions of Prophet. Singular is "Sahabi"

companions of ALLAH's messenger. One who saw the messenger of ALLAH while in the state of faith (iman), and then died in that state.

In Islam, the ṢaḥÄbah ( "companions") were the companions of Muhammad. This form is plural; the singular is ṢaḥÄbi (fem. Sahabiyyah).
