Definitions for "Sensitive information"
Unclassified information, the loss, misuse, or unauthorized disclosure or modification of which could adversely affect the national interest, the conduct of Federal programs, or the privacy of individuals protected by the Privacy Act (5 U.S.C. Section 552a). Information systems containing sensitive information are to be protected in accordance with the requirements of the Computer Security Act of 1987 (P.L. 100-235).
Information that requires protection because of the risk and magnitude of loss or harm that could result from inadvertent or deliberate disclosure, alteration, or destruction of the information. The term includes information whose improper use or disclosure could adversely affect proprietary data, the ability of an agency to accomplish its mission, records about individuals requiring protection under the Privacy Act, and information not releasable under the Freedom of Information Act.
sensitive information means information relating to a person's ethnic or racial origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health or sexual activities. Personal health information is information that concerns a person's health, medical history, or past or future medical treatment, and is in a form that enables or could enable the person to be identified.
This includes names of servers, IP addresses, locations of servers, switches, etc.
